Eagle View Media Company (EVMC) is seeking college choirs to feature on a new television show designed to show a different side of the college experience. The new show, “Chosen Generation”, will be hosted by National Award Winning Choir Director, Royce Mosely. It will highlight the skill, the art, the passion, and the Faith behind some of the best college choirs in the country.
Filming is set to begin in January of 2018.
The show will follow the testimonies of a few of the students in the choir but also share the hardwork that goes into building a great chorale group on a college campus. Expect a lot of energy, vibrant styles, and authentic heartfelt singing.
“I think it’s a great opportunity to show how the college choir is more like a family away from home when you go off to college,” said Mosely. “These students are very gifted singers and they are eager to go higher in God.”
Ro Wright, one of the founders of Congo TV Network said recently, “There is an energy in a college choir that is sometimes missing from regular services on Sunday mornings. Young people have a natural eclectic energy and when they are around kindred spirits you can always expect an elevated experience.”
Wright says EVMC is assigning parts of it’s production team to film at various colleges around the country to bring a first class experience. “We are devoted to reaching our core audience. Faith is still the centerpiece of the Black community. While creating shows that cater to the more ‘secular’ interests of the Black community we know we have a unique opportunity with this network to also reach an untapped audience in the Black religious community,” said Wright.
Several choirs have already confirmed to participate but EVMC wants to feature more university choirs. Interested choirs should have their Choir Director or Choir President email: firstname.lastname@example.org with the school name, city, Choir director, and phone number. Deadline for submission is December 29, 2017.
