Exciting news just keeps pouring in for Congo TV Network. The Wright Brothers and the Feaster Foundation (Eagle View Media Company owning partners) celebrated today as Roku officially added Congo TV Network to it’s list of hot networks!
“This is big for our little seed,” said Ro Wright, Director of Programming for Congo TV Network. “It is slowly becoming a little plant and before you know it, the world will see this tree we are growing,” he added.
Odessa Feaster, Co-Partner in Eagle View Media Company, explains why the Roku addition is big for Congo TV. “Roku is the largest streaming platform. For us, it means about 40 Million more people now have instant access to our network,” she said.
Congo TV Network was added on the popular Amazon Fire platform last month. While Amazon Fire is growing rapidly, according to a report by Tech Crunch Sarah Perez, Roku has close to 38M users around the world. Amazon Fire is right behind it with 36M users.
“It’s not as easy as people would think to be included in these platforms. It is costly and very advanced. We are lucky to have such a great team in New York guiding us,” said Gerald Wright, Administrative Executive for Congo TV Network.
Kita Wright says Eagle View Media Company is on target to launch on the Apple TV platform before the end of January. “The more platforms people have to access our channel the more people we can reach,” said Kita Wright, Director of Production for Congo TV Network.
Eagle View Media Company is set to release it’s own app by the end of January as well. “Our investors and supporters have helped us launch and we are presenting to the world what they saw on day one,” said Gerald Wright. “We have a long way to go but we are definitely moving towards our goal very quickly.”
